Why is my web based offsite backup script failing?

Last updated: January 16, 2019

If you’re using a shared hosting service with us you may experience issues in using your web based backup scripts whereby the script will time-out before the backup can be completed and transferred.

This can include wpbackup, Backup Buddy and other such 3rd party backup tools being used to generate and shift backups to offsite locations such as Dropbox or Amazon.

To overcome this issue, please add the following line to your .htaccess file:

RewriteRule .* - [E=noabort:1]
RewriteRule .* - [E=noconntimeout:1]

If you continue to experience issues, please lodge a support request through your MyZuver account.
