How do I transfer an existing domain name to Zuver?

Transferring your domain to Zuver is quite easy to do, and the process is listed below.

Please keep in mind that any gTLD (such as .com, .net. etc.) will take 5-7 days to completely transfer across.

Any .AU domain name will take 48 hours (2 days) to completely transfer across.

What will I need to transfer the domain name?

To transfer the domain name, you just need the below

  • The EPP code
  • Access to the registrant contact email address.
    This is the email address you used to register the domain name, and if it is required to be changed, you’ll need to contact your current registrar who can update it for you before the transfer.

Both of these details can be obtained from your current registrar, and you will need to contact them for these details.

Once you have those details, you can transfer the domain via our domain transfer page.

Keep in mind that if there is a cost associated with the transfer, it will add 1 year of renewal on top of the existing expiry when you transfer it across.

There is also no hidden costs in terms of ID protection, DNS hosting or Web/Email forwarding as these are all included for free.

What do I need to do once I have placed the order for the domain transfer?

Once you’ve gone ahead and completed the transfer process via the website, you’ll then be sent an approval email for transfer from us, which you simply just need to approve and wait the estimated time for the transfer to approve.

Will my service be offline whilst I’m transferring my domain across?

For the most part, if your DNS is hosted by an external provider (such as an email or website host), then there won’t be any downtime to your email or website whilst its transferring across.

However, if you’re using a DNS hosting product with your current domain provider, your DNS zone will break when it is transferred to us and will need to be re-created or set up on our end.
